TCF, Pick up the phone, It's Jimmy Carter calling!
McCain has done a masterful job of remaining humble about his Viet Nam
experience. In fact, before the press began to use it as their "lead
story"
McCain was hesitant to speak of it.
With regard to his houses, many people purchase properties as
investments, that they don't actually live in.
The question, how many do you own, would have to be explained further
and whether or not to include the rentals in that count. "I'm not
sure" leads to a conversation with those political advisers as to
which are residents and which are investments. McCain has 4 that they
use. One in DC (condo), one in Arizona, one in Calif (condo) and one
more. Most politicians have a residence in DC and a vacation home in
addition to the one in their home state...and don't for a second
forget the Kennedy compound or the John Kerry mini city of dwellings.
