Hey 77 Knight you should be able to answer this. I was looking at all
the twins/ triplets in the paper today and it made me think of your

there anymore?

EJ? Did we have any twins in the class of '78? We must have but I
can't think of any off hand...

I noticed the Donnie's & Ronnie's. Guess that was the popular name
then.

I don't remember any in our class. I loaned my year book to someone
years ago and never got it back so I really can't look but I can't
think of any. Do you think that list for 77 is correct? Can you think
of anymore?

Well, EJ, I decided to look through our Senior annual and found that
Lonnie and Donnie Hourigan are pictured with our class - so I'd say
the Class of '77 list is incorrect on that set. I thought they were a
year ahead of us, but I guess not. I didn't spot any other twins in
our class.

Speaking of classmates...this was really odd! I went to Terry Ward's
burial at Stewart's Creek Baptist Church and decided to take a look
around inside the church while I was there. On the bulletin board in
the back of the church was a heading of "News" or something, but there
right below that were pictures of three of our old classmates who
belong to that church - and their pictures were cut from the
Enterprise from back when we graduated all those years ago! You can
imagine my surprise at seeing that. Surely those three pictures
haven't been hanging on that board for 30 years???!

SHEW my memory isn't what it used to be!!!!!!

I don't remember a Ronnie and Lonnie Hourigan, but I do remember the
rest on the list ...... I think. I grew up as a neighbor of the
Leake girls. Golf View Terrace was a happening place in the late
60's. All those nights of playin' kick the can!!! And playin'
football on the #2 fairway behind the Leake's house. Man those were
the days!!!

By the way ...... what day is this???

Leb Fan It is Ronnie and Lonnie Hourigan and they were in the class of
1977. I don't know why they were listed with our class. They were in
my wedding along with Ray Hardin (now deceased) when I got married the
first time around. They were my ex's best friends and also grew up in
my neighborhood and were a year ahead of me all through school.

The two I wasn't sure about were the Keith and Kevin Hourigan. I
really wasn't sure which class they were from.

Stewarts Creek girls you saw on the wall would have been Leslie Wade
(Terry's cousin once removed) and Kathy Whitehouse (my cousin). Who
was the 3rd. I'm racking my brain and all the names I'm thinking were
a class below us.

EJ, I just uploaded a picture of that bulletin board in the files
section. The pictures were of Mike Jaglowitz, Leslie Wade and Angela
Mattingly and ran in The Enterprise when we were seniors. They'd won
awards of some kind. No kidding though - Ronnie and Lonnie Hourigan
really are pictured with our class in the senior year book. Maybe
their mama held them back???! I know they were a year ahead of us.

I would never have thought of Mike Jaglowicz because he didn't grow up
at Stewarts Creek but married into it.

I really don't remember if the Hourigan twins graduated in our class
or not but I know that most of their years were with the class of
1977. I went back to the 1976 year book and they were still with the
class of 1977 but you are right when I went to the 1977 yearbook they
were with the class of 1978. So either the yearbook people goofed or
they failed I guess.

Never thought about looking on Classmates. I signed up on that but
don't pay a fee so really can't do as much looking. I was thinking
that both Keith and Kevin are now deceased.

LF looking at the signatures in my yearbook made me sad to see how
many of them are no longer with us. Jeannie Gordon, Mike King, Bruce
Hansel, Tommy Whitehouse, Dave Hourigan. I know there are a lot more
too. So sad.

Keith and Kevin Hourigan are much younger than the class of 1977. I
know one of them has passed away.

I does make you sad to think of how many from our class are no longer
with us.

Some others that come to mind are Vicki Knopp Brady, Jimbo Mattingly,
teachers like Molly Hamilton and Mrs. Sims (two of my favorites).

Robert Osbourne, Michelle Porter, Mike Smith, Teresa Mattingly, David
Abell, David Thomas are others from 1978 that come to mind. Teachers
like Manie Roney Spalding, Sister Mary Carl who were both tough and
two of my absolute favorites.
