logos

hey kids,

I was able to work on a logo a bit... attached is a file with what I've got so far.  My favorites are the bottom 2 in box 4, the right 2 in box 5 and box 6.  Your thoughts?
I though it'd be best to keep it light and simple, and a little playful.  If you want to go in a completely different direction and/or have other ideas, let me know.  Colors can be tweaked or whatever too.

Hey,
Great job Erin! My favorite is 6, but they're all great. I would suggest for 6 maybe alternating black and grey colors too, but for some reason the straight line, alternating movement and the drop at the end really appeal to me. I like the text all in one direction for simplicity.

Hey all!

This looks awesome Erin!  Thanks for putting that together.  I like all of them, but would you want to add "at Cornell" to the logos, just to differentiate between the national organization and us?  Just a thought. 

Would you want to meet at 5:15PM on Tuesday in Libe Cafe to go over some of these ideas and next steps?  We need to set up a meeting (hopefully next week) with Cornell Dining to review our potential logos, etc. 
I'll check my e-mail tomorrow, but just in case, please reply to all or text me if that works for you!

Yeah I realized right after I sent the email I didn't include at cornell. I should have a chance to work it in tomorrow. And 5:15 works for me!

hello,

added "at cornell" to a few of the logos and tweaked them a bit... can obviously add "at cornell" to all, but thought you could get the gist of it from just these few (updated file attached).  If we want a hard copy of them at our meeting now could one of you guys coming print it (since cornell booted me from the system, I don't have netprint anymore)... the file is 11"x17", but obviously you can scale it down to print on one 8.5"x11" sheet rather than 2 pages.
