Hi Colin,
Thanks for following up on this project. I hope that I'm not responding too late, but I am on vacation this week and only just saw your message.
I had sent you a copy of our TBTT at Cornell logo a couple of weeks ago, which Renee had informally approved of previously (through a Facebook message to Renee, but I was waiting for a more official confirmation). I have attached another copy of our logo to this e-mail.
I would appreciate if we could use this logo, if at all possible, so that there is consistency between our educational campaign and the reusable bottles that are for sale. If that is not a possibility, a logo designed by you would be fine. However, the font you chose is slightly difficult to read. Maybe different wording would be worth exploring- "Love Your Tap!", "Just Tap It!", or something similar.
Please let me know what you think and if you've already placed the order.
Thanks so much,
Sincerely,
K.C. Alvey

K.C.,
Today I was told that we are going to run a pilot trial of these 16oz water bottles. I contacted a supplier and they can get the bottles printed and delivered by the 20th of August if I place the order tomorrow. Since we are in crunch time now, we can't get the permission to have a cornell logo on the bottles. I called take back the tap in NYC and spoke to Renee, asking if we could use their logo or even just write "take back the tap". I know your logo was waiting for approval, and since you're out of the office this week, I don't know if we could even receive it in time. Anyways, i've come up with a very simple logo that could go on the bottles. Check out the attached ppt. Let me know what you think. I'm still waiting to hear back from Renee, but if we can't write "take back the tap" i think the attached logo says the same thing.
