Hello everyone!

 

I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine of spring!

I wanted to invite you all to sign up for a great class this Saturday at the museum. (Details are listed below) There are plenty of spots available and the teacher is fantastic. Studio Classes for Kids: Assembling a Life

with artist and educator Cheril Walker

Saturday, April 4, 2009, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Students will discuss what qualities make us individuals and how our personal histories bring richness to our community as they tour Along Water Street: New Work by Aminah Brenda Lynn Robinson. Inspired by their gallery experience, children will further explore these ideas by creating assemblage sculptures made from a variety of materials and techniques. Advanced registration is required. Cost is $10 per person for members, $15 per person for non-members. To register call 330.376.9186 x229 or x230.
