Taiwanese Mid-summer Festival, Walnut Creek, CA
The East Bay Taiwanese Association will be celebrating the mid-summer festival on Saturday, June 9th. Food will be available for purchase. Plus, they'll be teaching people how to make Zon-Zi! And, you get to eat them with fish-ball soup at the end! Lots of fun and games for young and old, from paper boat races to egg-standing contests. TaiwaneseAmerican.org will likely have a booth set up to promote community events and Taiwanese pride T-shirts! Come gather with other 2nd generation community members for a casual

San Francisco 2007) will judge the contestants and determine who is fit to reign.
