今年 (2010) ATBC在印尼舉行，會議前後照例有其他活動。其中的寫作營相當有趣。台灣大概得不到補助，不過應該不會太貴。大家可以考慮去參
加。

Announcement: Training opportunities at ATBC Bali 2010

The ATBC Asia-Pacific chapter and the University of Indonesia will be
hosting Experimental Design & Data Analysis (12-16 Jul) and Scientific
Paper
Writing (17 Jul) workshops, and a 6-week field course on
Biodiversity,
Conservation and Sustainable Development (25 Jul – 4 Sep) in
conjunction
with the ATBC Bali 2010 meeting. The training is targeted at graduate
entry-level students (MSc or 1st -2nd yr PhD) or equivalent-level
researchers in government or non-governmental organisations.

A limited number of Course Fellowships and Travel Awards are available
for
participants from lower-income countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
However, given the limited number of awards available, prospective
participants are advised to seek alternative sources of funding where
possible. Preference will also be given to participants who are
attending
ATBC Bali 2010.
