To your first question: more Fudds less camo, I guess! ;) A specific
Fudd event should have more familiar looking folks at it for the Fudds
among us ... perhaps that will help.
I wonder if we were using the old metric targets when you invited your
friends. Our current paper targets have no 'head' so may be more
acceptable to them.
Our 100 yard stage is mostly steel these days, as per your suggestion.
Although there is nothing wrong with using a bolt gun, I suggest that
you hotgun with your friends or bring an inexpensive loaner gun for
them. They will get more out of the event using a semi auto mag fed
rifle. At this point it looks as if August will be our Fudd event (but
hey they are welcome anytime!) and I will try to secure extra ammo and
some loaner guns for that date. I think Rod has already offered up a
couple of choices, so just send the word!
