Hello all.
Just to underline the significance of the name-change:
  • My own main hope for the group is to arrange meets so that I can enjoy more WW2 tactical board wargaming, be it demos, tournaments, or just friendlies; hence changing the name from CC.
  • I would hope members will use the group to their own ends.
To that end:

LAST CALL!
For those who might not've noticed, Barry Ingram has been planning M44 and C&C:A tournaments at Leicester Wargames Society All Day Play this coming Sunday, 27th September:

Go along and play if you can, but don't come back here and talk about C&C:A... :-7

EARLY WARNING!
DiceConEast will be held in Edinburgh in a couple of months. I mooted the propsect of a CC tournament with the organisers; but subsequent discussions with Badger have led me to the conclusion that this wouldn't be viable:
  • I think you need to play a minimum of 4 games for a credible CC tournament.
  • That'd be a hefty 10 hours plus.
I'd like instead to get a chance to try 1 or 2 of my WW2 games I've not played; I have several, but top of my list are:
  • Panzerblitz: Hill of Death.
  • Storm Over Stalingrad.
  • Monty's Gamble: Market Garden.
Anyone interested?
