Morning all

With the good news of little Ebby making his way home, I approached Andre about posting this item. Perhaps someone out there can shed some light on the mystery?

I was recently contacted about the remains of a dog in Cecelia forest, above Rhodes Drive. The people thought it may be my missing Border Collie Steele (http://www.facebook.com/steele.collie) . Due to the fact that the body has been there a while it's impossible to identify the dog, or even the colouring and breed. The only visible sign is the collar and leash (see attached picture).

I have attempted to locate the owner via various forums with no success, so I am hoping that someone out there will recognise the picture. perhaps we can bring closure? I hope that  offence by this post. Please contact me for more information.

Thanks

Gavin

Hi Gavin

Whilst our main aim is to provide a forum for the more serious crime and grime matters within TMNP, its very worthwhile broadening this to other situations where a quick message to people can save a life.  In this case sadly not, but perhaps we can find the owner.

Let us know if you do manage to find the owner.

Cheers
Andre
