Hi Everyone

 

Please have a look and 'like' the new Table Mountain Watch facebook page.  

 

If you represent an organisation (hiking, climbing, running, cycling, friends of...  etc. etc.) that is concerned about safety / security in the park, then please register with us by emailing your details to an...@qos.co.za.   If you are not affiliated to any organisation but feel as a 'mountain user' that you can contribute or assist then please do the same. 

 

We would like Table Mountain Watch to be seen as a Mountain Neighourhood Watch as such - or the 'Eyes and Ears' of the various organisations that are fighting crime in the park.  To this end please send us contact details (Chairman / Control Centre) of your local Neighbourhood Watch if the area covered is adjacent to the park.  We would like to start talking to these organisations about developing rapid alert and response processes for the various areas. 

 

We will be engaging directly with TMNP Management shortly (just waiting for date/time) so it will be crucial for everyone to be represented and involved.

 

Pleas email me your details and I'll respond with who is currently involved and what some of the plans are - in more detail.
