This is the first of a series of workshops devoted to crafting legislation to introduce in the Missouri legislature. Rep. Eric Burlison will give us a brief talk about the legislative process in Jefferson City. From there we will develop a list of ideas for legislation and form groups to work on specific topics. We will hold more workshops this fall to refine the legislation. 

Date: Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013
Time: 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
  Dinner 5:30 p.m.
  Presentation 6:30 p.m.
  Action Sessions 7:00 p.m.

Location: Bair's All-American Sports Grill
  Parkcrest Village Shopping Center
  3821 S. Campbell Ave, Springfield, MO

Presentations:
  Writing Legislation in Jefferson City - Speaker: Rep. Eric Burlison
Action Session: 
  1. Ideas for legislation for the Missouri legislature next year.
  2. Formation of groups to work on specific bills.
  3. Pick a date for the next workshop. We plan on having an additional three or four this fall.
