Fw: debunking the cul-de-sac

I'm sure you all are familiar with the failure the conventional "cul-de-sac" neighbourhoods, but this is a nice refresher article on how traditional grid neighbourhoods (such as downtown) are much safer than new "conventional" neighbourhoods.  The key the connectivity of the neighbourhoods to promote "location efficiency" - a neat concept.
