Hi everyone,

I'm home from work today with nasty head cold- ugh!  I can't be at the meeting tonight and I doubt you'd want me there sneezing on you!

One thing I think could help in the future is to get a UHaul for clean up.  Even though I wasn't there with the early am cleaning crew, I do think that we could save a lot of time by loading everything as-is into a truck to deal with the next day.  Trying to organize and carefully put things away after a long day and a few beers takes way more time than organizing with a clear head the next day.  Just a thought...  Baykeeper does this after their annual event.  It's easy to tell people ",take that to the truck" as opposed to explaining to them where exactly it goes, etc.  Since I wasn't there for clean up- I could be mistaken about the reasons why you all were there until 5am but it would be nice to avoid that in the future!

Oh darn! I'm sorry you are sick, and I'm sorry you won't be there.
We'll miss you. Mike can't come either, but I'm still planning on it.

I like your idea of loading everything in a truck, Tara. Maybe that
was what slowed us down. In the past I had my big Lance camper and it
was like you said: throw everything in the truck. I should have
prepped it to use this time too. We definitely weren't there packing
till 5am, but it WAS the longest clean-up I've ever experienced! And
we had the CCC.
