Wow! You Trails Trusters sure do know how to have a good time and work like dogs!  Thank you all for being so understanding about my early departure.  I'm sorry I wasn't able to help with clean up.

Some of you have mentioned that we should have a follow up meeting/party/potluck to talk about what worked, didn't work, how to better plan, look at pictures and compliment each other on a job well done!

I know that Jenny was leaving town, not sure when.  I think it's best to meet within the next 3 weeks and will send out a meeting wizard request to help us all determine the best date.  Any volunteer hosts?

Thanks everyone!

Thanks Tara for all of your hard work. I am sooo glad you are part of
the Trails Trust. I responded to the meeting invite.

I also have the wine glasses, your cooler and I believe your vases.
Let me know when you have time to deal with them.

Ingrid & Kevin, Jen and of course that crazy Nancy kept the energy
going till the wee hours doing clean-up. I think I left at 4AM.

Mike

Thanks everyone!

Looks like this is a very busy group. There are no ideal times! How about this Sunday at 5 or 6pm for a simple 1-2 hour BBQ? At someone's house or down at Cooper Gulch or Sequoia Park, or Mad River picnic area would be sweet, or the beach or something. It's suppose to be sunny and warm.

Unfortunately, I am busy all weekend and would not make it to that.

It looks like just about no one can make it on the weekend, myself included, I'm out of town... but everyone who's responded except Ingrid (rats!) can make it on Monday.

Also, can anyone representing the Trails Trust (in new shirt?) be at the Hammond signs 'unveiling' on Saturday at 10am at the Clam Beach parking lot? I cannot be there, and even if I was, I would be in my RCAA hat.

Everyone but Ingrid and Brian. That's really a drag, I really wanted
you two there, but all the other days are worse. Unless anyone's
"unavailabilities" are negotiable, and since we can't skip having this
meeting, I guess the next question is where shall we meet?

I will definitely be at the Hammond sign unveiling, new shirt and all!
If anyone else wants to join me that would be wonderful too.

Should we try an upstairs at LCB for our meeting on Monday? The weather has been so iffy for an outdoor meeting, and the beer is always flowing at LCB. I wouldn't be able to make it until 6pm anyway.

Perhaps we forgo a party till later in summer and instead do a few
beers and a review on Monday. No planning needed just a good
conversation.

Monday is also Flag Day.

Another reminder that we should all exchange items that night as well. I have some things for Nancy, Mike and Tara, and I know some of you have money and receipts for me. I'll bring the check book and reimburse everyone.

I went to ENF today but they didn't have any of the ticket stuff. I
presume Rick has it. Do we know the number of tickets sold at ENF?

Rick gave me those on Saturday. I will havwe to get back to you the number, but it was small, like under $100. I have the unused tix as well.

Hi gang, only one last question... it was really hard to hear at LCB (and I have decent hearing), kind of impossible to have a scenario where the entire group could hear what one person who wasn't near them was saying, and if all of us are there and around a table, it might be hard. Just a thought.

We could do it at zoo, if that is a better spot. And, more likelihood for me to make the meeting! :)

Should we do this by email instead? Everyone compile their memories
into a short document and forward to me and I will make a master of
things we need to do different (or the same) for next year.

I thought it would be nice to meet, and most of us were available and
planning on being there. Maybe all we need is a round table, not a
long one at LCB (or somewhere else) so we can hear each other? But
it's up to the group. I'm writing down all my ideas/improvements anyway.
I just wanted to tell you all face to face how much of a pleasure it
was to work with you. I hope you all know that. I'm very glad to be a
part of the Trails Trust.

I also like the idea of meeting face-to-face. It will also give us all a chance to exchange money, receipts and items we have from the event that we  want to get to someone else.

I also enjoy having a beer after a long day at the salt mines.

If we are looking for a non-pub, or something different that still serves beer and potentially has both indoor and outdoor options depending on the weather, how about the Marina Restaurant? Or does anyone else have a suggestion?

Marina restaurant is a great idea!  I never think to go there.  Should be much quieter.  I vote yes!

The Marina Restaurant is a great idea. They have food and alcohol and are probably quiet on a Monday night.

Do y'all mean the new Bayfront Restaurant or the one on Woodley Island? Food's far better on this side of the bay, but probably more expensive and I don't know how it works for a meeting.

Nothing fancy shmancy... it's the one on Woodley Island. Cheap, lightly populated, mediocre food. Might be a good night for fish 'n chips. We can all wear our t-shirts and answer questions from the tourists about TTHB. :-) You ok with this, Mike?

I was thinking Cafe marina, on Woodly island.  I doubt the food is very good, but i imagine they can serve a fine beer.  It seems spacious and quiet.  I haven't been to the new Bayfront Restaurant.

6pm is fine with me. And since this google group is about organizing the Trail Mix I think it's going to fade off anyway, so no worries, Rick.
