I'm sure the idiots in Sprinfield will try to charge us an arm and a leg for the "right" to carry though.

This is the best news of this sort ever for Illinois, but (and I am talking an Adel sized butt) I will believe Illinois has legal CCW when I am carrying my gun without being thrown in jail. I will be the first in line to apply I can tell you that. If they make it at all possible within my physical and financial limitations I will carry. I plan on getting a Glock 31 chambered for 357 Sig this spring. Maybe I need to get the compact version :) Like I said, I will believe it when I see it.
