He knew enough about TSCM to sell sweeps, and he was really good with
networking, and literally sold millions of dollars of sweeps over the
decades, from Richmond, VA to Hartford, CT, and he know how to properly
communicate with actual decision makers, without nagging them, and he
made a good intermediary between the sweeper and the executive.

He also knew which end of the diode to plug into the wall, and when.
