We had three more people just in my checkpoint alone fail their PSE's
today.
They were devastated. And, impressively, they were outspoken about it.
You see, reaching out and leaning on colleagues for understanding and
support at a time when you are finding it hard to even show your face
is, well, courage at it's best!
And that is what TSA/AFGE members are all about....having the courage
to move through all the ugliness to the real truth which is: we need a
better system!

I spent the day in MIA for the 1st Contract Meeting. And we just had
FLL's too. I am doing my best to make sure that TSO's here in FLL are
aware of what MIA is enduring at the hands of their oh-so-caring-
management: That you are being terminated if you don't pass your PSE!
FLL sends their best wishes to all the brothers and sisters in MIA in
these tough times.

tis fatman leo @ MIA
whats happening at MIA
at MIA, if you are a DFS that fails SCP certs(after 3 times), you are verbally told that you have a choice. give up your BAG and retain/retrain for SCP , if you don't agree then you will goto PT BAG. (a DC order, ,,,no paper work to prove it is from DC, i believe tis local thing)
all have been advised of thier rights.......

Yes, but what happens to those that are not DFS?
Got another question for ya:
Are your ATI/STI taking notes when they review the PSE's with you just
before you test?
FLL's are, and interestingly, they are the contents of what people are
being dinged for such as:
HHMD not turned on
Did not tell the psgr to put arms down after completing the back
Did not complete full circle on the foot clearing....
It seems that whatever the ATI/STI's have written down on their little
note pad, is what the Officer later fails for. Things that make you
go: "mmmmmm"
