well for all that needed this i am attaching the original message sent by the gentleman in regards to this issue if any supervisor / manager has an issue tell them to take it up with him. I am also sending a letter from Mr Kip Haley in regards to "TSA: 2008 Civil Rights Policy Statement" i am sure that most of us can figure out how this would fall under a civil rights complaint for if you may not be sure i will help it is called Disparity of Treatment, also Discrimination for they are allowing everyone ek\lse to post info. yet because your is of a different flavor it is UN-acceptable i think not do you guys follow me . On the bottom of each letter if these fine intelligent individuals persist on being stupid then write to the individuals on each letter and have them explain to you why your Sup,Man,AFSD & FSD can not follow rules and regs. set out by Washington. even ask are they special that they do not have to follow the rules that Washington sets forth see how fast they sing a different tune,. well my brothers and sisters i hope that this is of some assistance
 yours truly
Ace your Pres.

Hello Brothers and Sisters,  does anyone have the policy for "Mandatory Overtime" we have been threatened with having to stay after our shift ends without warning. I have been told several times, the last few weeks that  if there is a long line when your shift ends you might be asked to stay. No ifs ands or buts... I would love to know what the policy is.

The rule is that first they have to ask for volunteers then they must give you advance notice and they can only keep a couple of lanes not the whole check point  also its done by senority

in MIA you are asked for volunteers and depends on who your STSO are .
you are given a 2 hr prior notice, as for senority, that is unknown to
me

I believe one of the items we are overlooking is the ACTUAL TSA Management
Directives that apply to this situation. Everyone realizes that at all
levels TSA management does not follow, misinterprets, and in many cases does
not even read their own directives. First, you learn TSA's official
position, then you make SURE THEY ARE FOLLOWING Federal Law, then you put it
to them. You have a right to reasonably question their actions and policies,
especially if they are not consistent with their own directives. Knowledge
of TSA directives prevents disparity of treatment and a host of other
abuses. Knowledge IS POWER!!
