The Metropolitan Area Planning Council seeks an innovative and technically-skilled Research Analyst to create new insight on Metro Boston's land use and transportation systems. The analyst will conduct a wide range of research and modeling activities, including transportation system analysis, land use allocation modeling, development and analysis of novel datasets, design and implementation of new decision support tools, and creation of integrated transportation and land use scenarios for regional planning efforts. This is an opportunity to apply state-of-the-art modeling tools and analytical methods to real-world applications in a large metro region with a variety of social, environmental, and transportation challenges.
