Dear Colleagues,
The first Bridging Transportation Researchers (BTR) Conference will be held online on January 7-8, 2020. BTR<https://bridgingtransport.wordpress.com/> aims to bring transportation engineers and planners together globally, negate greenhouse gases, avoid costs, and remove the obstruction of travel. We welcome researchers and practitioners from diverse transportation areas, particularly individuals who are unable to obtain a visa or afford traveling to and participating in international conferences. Please consider submitting your work for presentation by October 31!
Would you mind spreading the word, among your TRB & other committee memberships?
Thank you!
Your Planning Committee

Bringing together transportation researchers from around the globe, BTR provides an avenue for those who are unable to travel to attend major conferences to share their work with the rest of the transportation community. Please join us online on January 7 & 8, 2020, for two half-day (& free!) session series.
Full-paper submission deadline is October 31, 2019.
Submission instructions and conference information are available at <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pKAPHpR6QmKjHfmOUJg65-JonMY2h9O6giP7SVYCBp4/edit?usp=sharing> https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pKAPHpR6QmKjHfmOUJg65-JonMY2h9O6giP7SVYCBp4/edit?usp=sharing.
Papers will be peer-reviewed, and selected papers will be organized into sessions for web-based presentations during the conference. Selection criteria is based on the quality of submitted papers, but favors researchers from countries facing travel restrictions, and those facing financial hurdles associated with travel and other extenuating circumstances.
Please direct any questions regarding the conference or the paper review process to Kara Kockelman (kkoc...@mail.utexas.edu) & Elnaz Irannezhad (e.iran...@uq.edu.au), respectively.
We look forward to hearing from you!
