TRAIN Central Station today hosted a Webinar about the Pharmaceutical
Assets Portal created by Clinical and Translational Sciences Awards
(CTSA) consortium funded by NIH. The Portal is designed to facilitate
the transfer of investigational drugs and biologics for academic
research by forging relationships with the pharmaceutical/biotech
industry. It helps "match" researchers with pharmaceutical assets that
may be useful in elucidating disease mechanisms or for discovery of
new uses in clinical treatment.
