As mentioned, the new issue is not ready yet, but we have gone back and
done a bit of updating to some etymologies that weren't quite on the
mark. Below is a list of those we have changed. We inserted "UPDATED
JANUARY 2006" at the beginning of each updated entry. Some of the
changes were fairly substantial; others were just tweaks.
