(Remembrance ceremony- will take place (in Hebrew) at the auditorium in Churchill building (right by the central library and above the student union building

(The ceremony will start at 9:30 AM and will be an hour long. During this time, there will be No classes. Classes that are scheduled to start at 8:30 will be held on time but will end at 9:30 (unless you are told otherwise

Important! 10:00 AM – Siren! 

On Holocaust Remembrance Day morning, 10:00 AM, a siren will be set all around Israel for two minutes; do not be alarmed. At this time, it is accustomed to pay respect to the victims of the holocaust and WWII by standing still and being silent. If you are on your way walking anywhere you might see people stop and stand, cars and busses stop as well, and the drivers/passengers will stand still on the road 

Please note: the siren set is in respect for the victims of the holocaust, please respect them or just with respect to the people standing for the siren, please stand still for the two-minute siren
