to Mental Golf and Sport Psychology
Each Discussion Posted on this Forum is focused on a specific issue,
yet is fully relevant and interconnected with all the other Posts.
Mental Golf and Sport Psychology covers a large content area and your
best results will evolve over time as you learn to connect each
separate topic with the other topics. The Big Picture will gradually
emerge.
EXAMPLE:
Power Breathing is best understood within the context of a full-body
attitude discussed in other Posts. It is also best understood within
the context of correct posture. It is also best understood as a
powerful posture basic to all vertical sports.
Once you understand this is the "only" correct posture, on and off the
course, you will work toward making the Position of Strength your
habitual, fundamental posture in all your daily activities, on and off
the course.
Please keep in mind, we are progressing toward a genuine understanding
of performance fundamentals. We are not learning "tips" and
"tricks". Fascinating as they may be, bits and tricks do not do the
job.
Learning fundamentals to be applied to all your activities is what
this Forum is about.
Recall a previous Post, "From one thing, know ten thousand things".
Recall another previous Post, "All correct movement is exercise,
whereas all incorrect movement is injury".
