The best golf swing results from subconscious forces - not conscious
effort.
Knowing this, Canadian Film Composer Karl Mohr and I set out to create
a training tool for the perfect golf swing. We knew Relaxation
Therapy produced a deep state of systematic relaxation, which is
fundamentally a state of hypnosis where the subconscious mind is most
receptive to external influence. This was a good start.
We also knew a perfect golf swing follows the path of the pendulum, so
this recurring sound pattern needed to be built in. This was
fundamental.
We had one last step and this was to determine the exact back to
forward swing ratio. Was the ratio 2:1, 3:1 or what?
Fortunately, about this time, John Novosol published his book, "Tour
Tempo: Golf's Last Secret Finally Revealed". We learned the exact
ratio is 3:1, with the forward swing three times faster than the back
swing. This was especially good news to me because it fit so well
with Power Breathing featuring "exhaling into the exertion" during the
forward swing". (Review other Posts in this Forum on Power Breathing)
Finally, we wanted a musical, flowing, rhythmic background. We chose
a 4-beat per musical measure, which is actually the foundation of
"swing" music. We now had all the pieces and we put them together.
Basically it goes like this: Following Relaxation Therapy - when you
are in a deeply relaxed, receptive state - you experience many times
over, a flowing, audio replication, of the perfect golf swing.
The power of the pendulum and rhythmic flow, joined with a 3:1 back to
forward swing ratio, is musically repeated many times over,
subconsciously guiding your deepest emotions toward a relaxed, fluent,
powerful, confident, golf swing.
I am very pleased with this work and feel it can be of considerable
value to all Group Members.

Recall the message on a previous Post, "Replace obsession with golf
mechanics with rhythmic flow".
