People often seek psychotherapy, counseling, coaching and other forms
of assistance, without really knowing what their problem is.

They usually seek these forms of assistance because they "don't feel
the way the want to feel" and have no clear idea where the troubling
feelings are coming from.

As a Clinical Psychologist, specializing in Psychological Assessment,
I set out to develop an online self-assessment tool to resolve this
problem. I knew for sure FOCUS was the central issue, so I developed
a Focusing Tool referred to as the Personal Change Indicator or PCI.

The PCI measures over 1500 personal concerns in about 20 minutes on
the average. People completing the PCI answer about 8% of the items
because FOCUS quickly comes into play. (The Tool tracks your thoughts
in a way you can't or typically won't do on your own)

Upon completion of the PCI you immediately receive your online "This
is Me!" report - for your eyes only.

No one, not even me, can see or know your results, because it requires
your self-assigned username and password.

The PCI is available at www.Tool4Change.com

The PCI is available and FREE to Group Members wanting to explore this
unique self-assessment opportunity. You will need an access code
which I will provide you in response to your e-mail requesting the
same.

After you have completed the PCI you will have a very vivid focus and
will know precisely your primary concern(s), secondary concern(s) and
so forth.

What next to do?

FOCUSED ACTION is the term I apply to this continuing process of
evolving self-management skills.

Once you know your Focus, your Primary Concern, the issue most
bothering you at this most central level, you want to do something
about it.

In business environments this is referred to as "Doing the most
important things first!" and this is what the PCI helps you do.

Of course, when you have questions about your particular FOCUSED
ACTION course, you can e-mail me and together, we will take it from
there.

EXAMPLE:

Jim is a successful executive and loves golf. Lately he has become
tense, agitated and short with people and doesn't know why. He is not
doing well at work and his golf game is suffering too. He has no clear
idea what is behind all of this and then completes the PCI.

Jim discovers his primary concern, the fundamental issue driving his
many problems, is his teen age son who is steadily getting into more
and more trouble and he has no idea why.

To this point, Jim was concerned about his son, but didn't realize how
deeply disturbing this was to him.

Long story short: Jim made his son the central issue in his life. He
and his wife discussed the many issues involved and decided they could
use some assistance. They contacted a local Marriage and Family
Counselor and gradually found their way, as did their son.

I say it every day - FOCUS IS EVERYTHING!

Check it out. I think you will find it very interesting. It is rare
to find someone who can predict his/her Primary Concern.
