Golfers often opine regarding "all-time best golfer" usually
concluding Jack Nicklaus or Tiger Woods. Who's to say?

Jack Nicklaus has amassed the greatest record in golf of anyone ever
to play the game. Tiger is following close behind. Will Tiger make
it to the end zone, with more accomplishments than Jack? We shall
see.

Here's the point!

Passing previous records requires endurance and much good fortune.
Tiger has had his surgical problems and now has some social-political
problems.

Making it to the end zone at the highest level involves many factors
that can disrupt and even end the process. Injuries are always a
possibility and they can not be predicted or fully controlled. You
just hope for the best and do what you can to prevent the same.

But how about psychological stress such as Tiger's recent car
accident?

Even though the accident is none of our business and we best leave the
subject alone, Tiger is left with the stress of the situation. This
is something he is brilliant at and I predict his success in this
regard.

The simple point is this: Tiger has to deal with the challenges in
his life, on and off the course, and this can affect his game, or
maybe not.

One thing for sure. Tiger will need to continue his long and
successful career into further victories to surpass records set by
others, including those set by Jack Nicklaus and Sam Snead. This will
depend on good fortune as well as skill.

My guess is Tiger will do just fine and will continue to set the pace
for golfers yet to come.
