Title: Sr. Project Manager - Leading Scrum Teams
Location: Mason, OH
Duration: 6+ Months
Req Details:
In this role, you will leading one or two Scrum teams that support software development projects. This role involves playing project manager and Scrum master.
Job Duties:
· Responsible for execution of the project life cycle for complex Application development projects to include:
· Managing project objectives and deliverables.
· Managing geographically distributed Project teams.
· Anticipating, tracking, and resolving action items, issues, and changes and escalating them when appropriate.
· Managing the expectations of the team members and management.
· Achieving project objectives on time and within budget.
· Anticipates, addresses, and manages project risks through a risk assessment process.
· Manage and align time lines with other Family of business.
· Create and manage a detailed project plan.
· Create and present accurate and detailed Status to senior management
· Drive the development team and testing team towards project goals through project task prioritization.
· Able to anticipate the consequences of decisions.
Required:
· 10+ years minimum proven project management skills/discipline in work planning, estimating, resource planning, risk assessment, scope and issue management with complex Software development projects using Agile and Waterfall methodology
· Intermediate to Advance of MS Office toolset skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) ,MS Project, Agile Tools.
· Advanced analytical, problem solving ability.
· Effective in coaching the project teams through Agile methodology.
· Effective at working with different levels of management throughout an organization and have experience with presenting to Senior management.
Preferred:
· Bachelor's degree preferred. In lieu of a Bachelors degree, we will accept equivalent in education and/or experience.
· PMP or SCRUM certification a plus, but not required.
