Sir,
I did my experimentation on machining of Alloy but during ANOVA analysis non factor is traced as significant. Can i go for interaction study to check significant factor.
Thanks

Dear Sir, Nice to see your mail.
First you clarify
1. How many parameters & their levels you considered? Because selection of OA depends on that to get an effect of  all interactions.Otherwisw you have to go for very limited selected interactions.
2. How do you assigned factors and to which columns? That is important.
3. You may pooled least significant factor, i.e. called pooled ANOVA and find out an effect of other remaining parameters.

Anyway if you have any idea about Dr. Lathkar Madam's plan to go to abroad please let me know.

Regards
Prof. B. D. Bachchhav.

What is the response and How many replications you have taken? Whether the analysis is with mean or S/N ratios. In Taguchi analysis with S/N ratios are preferable when replicates are taken. Please try this.
Also with 3 levels and 3 parameters L9 gives only 1 resolution.

Bachchhav.

Hi dear engineer
after you see that all of the factors is insignificant, you should redesign your model and help from any transformation to reach the appropriate model

you do brain storming session with friends ,identify the  factor and re-do ANOVA.

Dear Sir,

The residual error in your ANOVA is not essentially "pure error". If you need to perform a good ANOVA analysis, you should repeat your experimental treatments. This strategy can help you to estimate the SS of error (and variances of error) accurately and then your analysis about the significance of factors will become accurate.

Yours
Mohammad Mahdyarfar

Please read more about this method. Infortunally (afortunally for the engineers) the Taguchi Method define the mandatory rule that the experimenter have excellents skills to understand the transformation of energy in the problem...
