April Meeting Updates and Announcements

Hi all!

I hope you've been out, enjoying the Spring weather! 

Our next meeting was scheduled for this coming Thursday evening, at 7PM. Unfortunately, I will need to reschedule. (I completely forgot that I'll be presenting at a civic meeting that night.) Sorry for the last minute change!

Please let me know if either of the alternative dates work for you:

• Tuesday, April 23 at 7PM
• Thursday, April 25 at 7PM

We will make a final decision on the project we wish to prioritize, discuss the decision makers, opinion leaders, and other stakeholders involved, and begin planning from there. 

In the meantime,  I wanted to share:

• An op-ed published by partners in St George on a topic that is important to many of you!

• During the last meeting, Bob discussed the idea of a clean up on the Goethals Road North Bike Ln (leading to the Goethals Bridge) to call attention to conditions caused by the debris. We have set a date and time for Saturday, May 4, at 12PM.

• Later in May, on the 18th, I'll be hosting a press conference regarding pedestrian safety needs on Richmond Terrace, as part of work I began last year with local stakeholders to identify, highlight, and work to amend the biggest barriers to pedestrian safety in advance of Richmond Terrace's possible rezong towards more residential use.
