Bus Lane Expansion on Victory Blvd- DOT Needs Support

Hey all,

Exciting news!

I got a call from Will Deautriell from the DOT. The DOT will present to CB1's full board on Tuesday about a plan to expand the Victory Blvd bus lane. They want to extend the bus lane's time frame and expand it to CSI, which is MAJOR! MTA officials will be at the meeting to discuss issues around enforcement of the existing lane. The MTA and DOT will be open to hearing concerns and suggestions about how the existing Victory Blvd bus lane could be improved.The DOT doesn't expect too much opposition from CB1, but can still use our support!
