Welcome to Transportation Alternatives' Staten Island Activist Committee!  


We believe that safer streets, more public transit, and better bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure leads to happier, healthier, more vibrant communities.  This is the place to share news, actions, events, and ways to get involved in your neighborhood. Email the group at TAStatenIsland@googlegroups.com to introduce yourself!

Here are ways for you to get involved:
  • Come to our monthly meetings! We meet on the third Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM at the Everything Goes Bookstore and Cafe on 208 Bay Street, right by the Tompkinsville stop on the Staten Island Railway and  walking distance from the Staten Island Ferry
  • Visit our TransAlt webpage to see what projects we are working on.
  • Check out our Facebook Page to keep up with our social rides & events.
  • Become a Member of TransAlt and receive cool benefits.
