representing VLANs in SysML

Hello all,

Has anybody approached the topic of modelling virtual LANS on a network

I had considered blocks that had reference associations to all the clients and servers that the particular VLAN interfaced with. I would attach two ports to the block to indicate in and out traffic on from the subsystems and then I could then create IBDs of the VLAN blocks with all the reference properties connected to the in and out ports. The ports would then be typed by some VLAN interface with whatever standard features were associated with it.
