All,
Attached is a PPT file with a couple of
examples that are candidates for SysML representation. Not being a UML
expert - I have great difficulty with all the UML nuances. However, when I
listen to the differences of opinions over how to clearly represent fairly
straight forward concepts, when it comes to difficult relations, it's obviously
a real challenge.
The examples include many of the issues
real-world issues to be addressed in SE from identifying stakeholder needs to
establishing parameters for SE trades and design, and associating physical
system components with their roles in the system structure
architecture.
This is a first cut at both examples and
there are likely to be inconsistencies and areas open for interpretation.
Feel free to add comments to the Notes section of the slides.
