Dear All,
SAD is the news that Dr. Mariamma Joshua, wife of Fr. T. J. Joshua is
no more. Kochamma met with an accident at 11.30 am today (Saturday, 1
Dec.) at Kanakkary near Kottayam while on her way to Nedumbassery Air
Port to collect Joshua Achen who was to reach from Hyderabad. Kochamma
lost her life on the spot. The driver wa in a critical condition and
was taken to Kottayam Medical College and was put on Ventilator. But
he could be alive only for two more hours and was declared dead.
Both the bodies are kept in the Medical College Mortuary.
Joshua Achen reached Kottayam around 6.00pm and had a glimpse of his
life's partner and the driver who was his companion for so many
travels.
Joshua Achen is now back in his house at Kurichy. The entire Seminary
family is with him to console him at his bereavement. Fr. K.M.George
and other Priests and leaders of the Church have been managing and
controlling things from the time of the accident and they are with
Achen at Kurichy now.
Post- mortem will be conducted tomorrow ( Sunday ) at 10.00 am and the
bodies will be taken to Carithas Hospital Mortuary .
The details of the burial is yet to be given final shape.
