Our monthly potluck has been rescheduled

this month to the following Friday, 7/8

Please join us on Friday July 8th at 6:30pm for our July potluck dinner. Still at the Healing Matrix. Still at 6:30pm.

We know that many of our regular attendees have plans for the 4th of July weekend, so we’re postponing by one week to the 2nd Friday.

Community Food Assessment presentation

On July 19th, Jules Reynolds, Sustainable Cottage Grove’s RARE specialist, will summarize her year-long food system assessment of southern Willamette Valley. With financial backing from Oregon Food Bank and in collaboration with Healing Matrix, SCG secured an Americorps intern (Jules) to perform interviews and research, document what is happening (or not) in our regional food system, and identify opportunities and make recommendations to strengthen our efforts at providing equitable access to fresh local foods for all. For those that attended the June 21st presentation, you should still attend this July presentation, as Jules will cover new material and will have in-depth coverage of key areas where we can have a considerable impact locally.
