We the People 2.0
A new film by the Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund (CELDF) about the growing Community Rights movement

Sustainable Cottage Grove, in conjunction with Community Rights Lane County, is hosting a special screening of the new documentary film “We the People 2.0” on Thursday March 23rd at 7:00pm, and we would love for you to join us.

Ecosystems around the globe are collapsing under inherently unsustainable laws and governing structures – what many have called a “corporate state.” Communities are now coming together from across the U.S. to say: “enough is enough!”

We the People 2.0” shares stories from Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Oregon, where communities are organizing to stop fracking, sludging of farmland, and other harmful corporate practices. They are adopting rights-based laws to ban these harmful activities as a violation of rights, laying the foundation to create the sustainable communities they envision.
