The movement to grant legal status and protection for Nature to thrive is growing globally and is one of the most promising new strategies to protect the environment.

Mari Margil is an Associate Director at the Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund and a member of the Steering Council of the Global Alliance for the Rights of Nature. She is leading global expert in the burgeoning movement.
