New transportation options for Cottage Grove

NEW POINT-TO-POINT SHUTTLE SERVICE IN COTTAGE GROVE

There is a new Lane Transit District (LTD) shuttle service in town, called the LTD Connector. Launched in January, this pilot shuttle service will operate until February of 2020. It’s a program by LTD that is operated by South Lane Wheels.

This is a point-to-point service with pick-up and drop-off anywhere within the city limits of Cottage Grove. We live slightly outside of the city limits, but just walk the short distance into the service area and pick up the shuttle from there.

Fare is only $1, with rides for free or reduced fares if you already have an LTD pass. “Honored riders” ride the LTD buses and the LTD connector for free! And the shuttles are wheelchair-ready. 

This service runs from 7am to 7pm, Monday thru Friday.

Wait times are projected to be less than 30 minutes, but our experience is that it is around 10 minutes.

Honored Riders: If you are 65+ you can become an honored rider at the Eugene station or come to the monthly Sustainable Cottage Grove community potluck at the Healing Matrix (632 East Main Street) on March 1 at 6:30 and an LTD representative will check your ID, take your photo and get your honored rider card set up.
