Hello Sugarloaf-

Thank you so very much to the Strider Family for hosting the end-of-year party at your beautiful farm & home yesterday. The games, outdoor fire, visiting the baby foal, the yummy ham and food - all wonderful. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Also thank you to the 2016 board (Shelley, Scott, Sarah, Kathleen, Peter & Nick)

We then had a quick meeting and voted in a new board for 2017 (thank you to these folks who have stepped up to help!):

President - Erin Barnes

Vice President - Sarah Broadhurst

Secretary - Terry Sullivan

Treasurer - Kathleen Balogh

Field Maintenance - Jonathan Broadhurst

We talked about the mowing situation at he field. Richard brought up the importance for everyone to vote in the upcoming APA elections in December. Erin talked about upcoming ideas for the YDP for 2017.

High Point Awards were given out to the winners for this years Play Day Series (points added together for all 3 PlayDays this season)

Champion: Alexandra Broadhurst
Reserve Champions: Haley Blend and Peter Balogh - tied

3rd: Molly Gray and Katie Fox - tied

We also gave out embroidered items to everyone who came to the gathering who participated in the PlayDay series this year. Congratulations to everyone.

Nick gave a quick re-cap for the season: highlighting our participation in the youth teams and the Graham Bennett Clinic.

He then announced the winner for the SMPC MVP for 2016: Congratulations to Emma Strider

The end of the party was everyone watching a slideshow of all our members, practices, tournaments, playdays, goofing off etc. We will try to post it for everyone to view....soon.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the party - it was a blast! Looking forward to a great 2017 polocrosse season & we will have our membership info for next year out soon.
