Hi everyone,
It was just Andrea and I last night in the garden but I do have some notes to pass on to everyone!
Please stay off the newly seeded grass- it should be looking great and full enough to play on by the end of July.
More gravel will be coming soon for the path, furniture for the back patio, and plant material in the front.
Andrea and I spoke about events in the garden- for impromptu member/family bbqs and such you don’t need to reserve the garden, but if you do encounter anyone who wants to host something more formal, please have them come to the monthly meeting to present their idea and as long is it approved by everyone (if you all show up that is!) they’ll sign the event form and be good to go!
Alyson- you have a flat of seedlings which I put in your plot, try to get those in the ground asap! J Call me if you have any questions.

I have started a composting system in the metal garbage bin in the back of the garden using kitchen scraps for the greens and newspaper for the browns. I will take care of turning the compost, etc. Feel free to put any garden scraps or bring in kitchen scraps if you want to help build but be sure to cover anything up with shredded newspaper to balance it out and cover up any smells. I will try to leave a newspaper in the garden shed everytime I stop by so that there is always some available. If anyone has questions regarding the compost, please e-mail me. Thanks!

Hello All,
I have started a composting system in the metal garbage bin in the back
of the garden using kitchen scraps for the greens and newspaper for the
browns. I will take care of turning the compost, etc. Feel free to put
any garden scraps or bring in kitchen scraps if you want to help build
but be sure to cover anything up with shredded newspaper to balance it
out and cover up any smells. I will try to leave a newspaper in the
garden shed everytime I stop by so that there is always some available.
If anyone has questions regarding the compost, please e-mail me. Thanks!
