I showed up just after Francis and recieved the same meeting cancelation news. I suspected that the local youth had taken it upon themselves to cancel the meeting, and with the amount of rain pouring from the sky I figured that their decision was not an altogether bad one. Let's reschedule the meeting and select a rain location. Is there a local cafe or bar that you recommend? Is there someone from the group who typically takes the lead on scheduling meetings?
I'm looking forward to meeting you all and catching up with those I've already met.

By the way, did anyone catch the NY1 community garden story this morning?
The story was about a garden in queens that worked with Just Food to set up
Chicken coops. They give away the eggs each day to people in the community.
I'm sure this is a bit more than we can take on but it sounds like a really
cool program.

I hope you're enjoying the weekend! I don't think we ever decided on a
date for the garden meeting. My evenings this week are all filled up,
but if you want to go ahead and hold the meeting on Monday, you can
choose someone from the group to facilitate the meeting and take notes.
Otherwise, I suggest that you coordinate a date for an evening the
following week.
