Intelligence, the one we find with a philosopher or scientist, is quite static. How is it possible to map the immensity of  this creation, and fit it into one idea, theory, principle, or philosophy? The very effort reeks of limitation.

However, having said this, I must confess that I have a soft corner for such an attempt. The very act of collecting all observations, scrutinizing every evidence available, and straining oneself to discover a single pattern that captures everything of the available data, in a single freeze as though, requires of us a mighty heart. Not at all easy to be so coherent and expansive at one and the same time. We may even try to discover a thread that runs through the data, the thread that stitches the whole. Or else, we may look for that expanse, that one mighty canopy, under which we can huddle together all these diverging evidences. The very effort is not futile, though it can be inconclusive.

This Universe, or Life by itself, is enormous in its spread and throw. The sheer range of its diversity is by itself overwhelming. Our intelligence is indeed inadequate to capture the happenings. On that count, one cannot give up. Because, giving up shows our exasperation. But to keep the effort to understand going, even if it is known to be limited, takes us on a journey. A journey that dissolves self-created barriers, false logic, and untrue connections. The entire web working as intelligence, when challenged to assess the immensity of this creation, knowing very well the futility of the exercise, gives way.

When we no longer use a logic to derive understanding, when we no longer have to derive a cause-effect rule to recognize something, when we no longer have to 'flow with the wind' as though, to absorb the essence, when we no longer have to relate to it to open up the connections, we are in a different land.

The land of seeing. Seeing what is. Nothing needs to be done. No effort. No thought. Nothing will change because you don’t see it. We no longer are intelligent. We don’t have to be, yet we can see. We are totally with the scene that unfolds. Yes, we can sometimes talk about it.

Can the philosopher, the scientist, the economist reach here? They would have found a freedom from all thinking then.
