When is 2-Ring happening, and what is it?
Two-Ring is what we call our kick-off event for each production. This year you’ll hear from our Stage Director, Becca, and our Music Director, Stephanie. Co-Producers, Kai and Laurel, will share some of their new plans for Princess Ida, introduce the Production Team, and give an overview of what is still needed to produce “Gilbert and Sullivan on a Grand Scale.”

This event will be a traditional Sudbury Savoyards’ BSTS (Bring Something To Share) event. PLEASE CHECK all labels carefully as Laurel has an allergy-free household.
NO peanuts
NO tree nuts (almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, macadamias, pecans, pistachios, walnuts, etc.)
NO shellfish (clams, crabs, lobster, mussels, oysters, lobster, shrimp, scallops, etc.)
What score are we using, and how do I get one?
We are using the same score that we used in 2010 (the Malionek version).
If you wish to purchase a copy, please email prod...@sudburysavoyards.org by Wednesday, September 27. The cost is $20 (cash or check payable to The Sudbury Savoyards).
The Producers are placing an order with the hopes that we'll have scores by 2-Ring.
How do I audition for a named role in Princess Ida?
Auditioners should bring sheet music (for the accompanist) for their memorized piece, preferably Gilbert & Sullivan, or a stylistically similar composer, in ENGLISH. What should I do if I'd like to sing in the chorus for Princess Ida?
Chorus/ensemble members are encouraged to attend either night to complete paperwork. There are no auditions for chorus/ensemble.
If you are unable to attend on those dates, please complete the online Blocking Questionnaire.
