Hello All!
As promised I have more volunteer opportunities for you guys.
On September 25th there will be a Metal Fest held in the SAC from
12-7. I
will be giving places in shifts of an hour for simplicity sake. You
can
feel free to sign up for more than one time slot if you so choose.
This is what I need from you guys:
11am-12pm: 3 people at the door checking IDs and taking tickets. 2
people
to assist bands in set up and unloading
12pm-1pm: 3 people at the door checking IDs and taking tickets. 2
people
to assist bands in set up and unloading
1pm-2pm: 3 people at the door checking IDs and taking tickets. 2
people to
assist bands in set up and unloading
2pm-3pm: 3 people at the door checking IDs and taking tickets. 2
people to
assist bands in set up and unloading
3pm-4pm: 3 people at the door checking IDs and taking tickets. 2
people to
assist bands in set up and unloading
4pm-5pm: 3 people at the door checking IDs and taking tickets. 2
people to
assist bands in set up and unloading
5pm-6pm: 3 people at the door checking IDs and taking tickets. 2
people to
assist bands in set up and unloading
6pm-7pm: 3 people at the door checking IDs and taking tickets. 2
people to
assist bands in set up and unloading
7pm-8pm: 3 people at the door checking IDs and taking tickets. 2
people to
assist bands in set up and unloading
8pm-?? possibly 10pm??: 3 people to assist in clean up and tear down.
We will also be having a BBQ from 1-5pm.
This is what I need for this:
12pm-1pm: 4 people for BBQ set up and to begin grilling at 12:45
1pm-2pm: 2 people to grill and 2 people to man the tables and trash
2pm-3pm: 2 people to grill and 2 people to man the tables and trash
3pm-4pm: 2 people to grill and 2 people to man the tables and trash
4pm-5pm: 2 people to grill and 2 people to man the tables and trash--
These
four people should plan to stay a little after five to clean up the
BBQ
(usually takes about 15 minutes)
Please let me know what you guys would like to do. Remember I will
need
contact infomation from you guys.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. Please remember that the SA needs a short description of your club
submitted with your club packet. This will go in a campus wide
magazine.
This is good advertisement for your club and it lets incoming students
know what Tech has to offer.
2. Keep in mind that 49ers is comming up. I am on the hunt for casino
night dealers, 2 bouncers (big guys) for the front doors, bordello
girls
(the first meeting will be September 10th @ 7 at La Raj)--this year I
am
not only looking for girls to dance, but girls to do mocktails,
kissing
booth, and picture booth so please keep this in mind and come to the
meeting if you are interested. Inform your club memebers of these
opportunities please--these will all count for points towards your
club,
besides bordello girls...
3. Also, on the Friday of 49ers (October 22) we will be decorating
Macey
Center for Casino Night. I need AT LEAST 20 people to show up and help
us
set up. We will begin at 6pm. The more people we have, the faster it
will
go!
4. Remember to use the Tech Calendar to post your club meetings and
events. This will be an excellent way to get your club out where all
students can see. Besides, its free and convenient. If you do not know
how
to go about doing this--- go to the tech calendar and hover over the
day
you wish to hold your event/meeting. Look to the top right corner of
the
day and you will see a little plus (+) sign--click it. Fill in the
blanks
and click submit! Its so easy!
