Call for the participation: South Asian Youth Summit on Climate Change 2009

Dear all

In coordination with Ministry of Environment, Government of Nepal, Nepalese Youth for Climate Action (NYCA), Clean Energy Nepal (CEN), Indian Youth Climate Network (IYCN), Bangladesh Youth Climate Network (BYCN), Srilankan Youth Climate Action Network (SYCAN) and other youth organizations including 350.org is organizing South Asian Youth Summit on Climate Change (SAYSoCC 09) from 3-6 September 2009 in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The main objective of the Summit is to create a youth declaration on Climate Change that will be representative of South Asian Youth’s aspirations on Climate Change which will be handed to IPCCC and UNFCCC. The Summit will also come up with the South Asian youth network on Climate Change and a team representing South Asian youth delegates in the Cop-15 Copenhagen.
