final run thru? Andrew's presentation?

Our presentation is Sat March 1 at 9AM in Rm. 102 of the Hyatt. Do we
need a final runthru before this? If so, does Friday eve, say 7pm work?

Andrew you are providing the video...do we have PowerPoint? Do we have a
computer to show the video and PowerPoint? Do we know that computer
works consistently with a projector? (War wounds...)

We need amplified speakers for the video I assume. I can bring that.
Lessee...anything else?

Also, Andrew aren't you presenting at KMEA? When? I'd like to go.
Anybody else doing something there?

I actually made it a DVD so any laptop with a DVD drive would work. Does that mean we can use yours, John?

As far as presenting, I am not specifically presenting anymore, but I am speaking to high school students as part of a panel of a college musicians on Friday at 11.

Friday at 7 is the WSU Symphony warm up time........I wouldn't mind another run through before Saturday, but people might have to be flexible about their schedules. I wouldn't mind after orchestra on Thursday, but everyone please send when would work best for you. I know I couldn't do it anytime on Friday. Thursday at 1:30 perhaps.............

so there's a DVD for the video. Are there any slides? If not, then perhaps just not yet? ;-) Seriously I could maybe even put them together, but I think it really helps people understand what is going on if they have a visual to line up with what they are hearing.

Maybe there are slides on the video?

In terms of rehearsal, sounds like the two possibilities are Thurs 1:30 and Thurs 4:30. Who can make which of these times?

In terms of the DVD, we could probably use my computer, but I really want to test and make sure the DVD plays...can't ever be too sure (more war wounds). So Andrew can you find me tomorrow or leave the DVD in my box and I will test?

Thursday 1:30 is much better, I couldn't do the 4:30 time.  Another run through sounds like a good idea.

I was planning on being in the CRATEL lab tomorrow from about 3:30-6 working and adding to the video. I'll show you how it works; it is pretty cool.

john- we're supposed to record my silbelius III with juleann on thursday at 1:30?..

other than that there's no time, but i'm willing to do whatever. is it going to be productive enough to merit an hour of time? like i said, i'm willing if the answer is yes, and the recording is moot.

I am currently down in the CRATEL lab editing the video and the clips of the video conferences I put on there are

1. the roll call

2. an example of dynamics with Beethoven's, "Leonore Overture"

3. Amanda playing "figure out that tempo" as the orchestra plays Die Fledermaus

4. Tim and Erin showing vibrato

I thought you would like this so you could edit your script.

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to tell you all that I was very happy with our presentation yesterday, and I am so excited we have 2 new schools interested! I think we should be very proud of the work we did getting ready for it and really make this next video conference a success! After talking logistics with John and the media resource center, I am getting really excited about how it could possibly turn out!
