Looking for Developer (Fullstack that can Test).  Looking for a Tester that can Develop. 50/50 Must haves: Core Java Skills Write Code Testing Mindset - Break stuff, fix stuff, comfortable using testing tools.  User Interface skills, Selinium Web Application Skills Computer Science Degree - Must   Looking for Unified Test Automation Skills (Cross Functional) Goal is to 100% Automation and have NO Manual Someone that just is a scripter and does Rinses and Repeats is NOT A GOOD FIT Someone that can use Shared Coding and add a method to the Class is ideal Postman with proving Java Code, and UI Testing, JUNIT Testing is fine..   MINDSET OF a TESTER: They are methodical when it comes to testing Know how to do functional testing Security Testing Performance Testing Break It and Fix It Usability Testing Testing User Interface and Combatability On and On.. can have a 30 minute conversation about how to test   Given an Algorithim, cand find a solution and problem solve through conversation...   TESTING TOOLS BEING USED: Jenkins JMETER AWS Java.NET Javascript PROTRACTOR - BIG PLUS, as that means they are doing Java Script Testing Selenium API TESTING

Description: The main function of a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is to write code to develop and execute software test plans to identify software problems and their causes. This is a Software Engineering position involving hands-on coding to create frameworks. Responsibilities • Write java code to automate the test of business layer or data layer applications • Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures • Test system modifications to prepare for implementation • Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability • Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers • Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes • Create or maintain databases of known test defects • Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates Required Skills • Coding experience (Need experience on test frameworks/ Web Development experience/Web Services) • Ability to write core code, outside of using a tool, like Selenium • Core Java or C# skills to code/automate testing for business layer or data layer (back end) testing • Strong backend or data knowledge with SQL and/or PLSQL • Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures and software testing • Junit, Selenium, TestNG, SoapUI, JMeter, JProfiler, Protractor/Karma/Jasmine, Mockito, Easymock/ Powermock/JMock • CI/CD, Maven, Git, Jenkins, Gradle, SVNS, Chef, Puppet, CI/continuous integration • AWS/Angular/EMR/JavaScript Preferred Skills • Cucumber • Knowledge of financial or risk modeling is a plus • Understanding/ practicing TDD/BDD with Agile would be great plus
