AWS S3/EC2/Lambda/EMR  is required

5+ years of experience required

Must have experience Spark, Python/Scala

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree or Military Experience
-Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, HDFS
-Professional experience with data engineering concepts
-Professional experience in writing software in either Python, Java or Scala
-Experience on Unix/Shell scripting
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with AWS cloud specifically on AWS EMR
-Experience with Unix/Linux systems with scripting experience in Shell or Perl
-Experience building data pipelines
-Automated deployment, CICD experience with tools like Jenkins
-Experience with Restful web/API services, micro-services development, testing, deployment
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or other containerization experience
- Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google) development experience
-Experience with Streaming and/or NoSQL implementation (Kafka,Cassandra, etc.) a plus
